Hackney Cycling Campaign’s Annual Meeting will take place 19:30-21:00 on Wednesday, 7 October 2020. The Zoom details are available by sending an email to meetings@hackneycycling.org.uk. The meeting will include a presentation on the events of the previous year, a guest talk, and committee elections.

Guest Talk

You will no doubt be aware of the new modal filters that have been installed across the borough in the last few weeks.

Modal filtering has been a key policy of the HCC group for many years, and we are pleased to announce that Professor Aldred of Westminster University has kindly agreed to talk to us on Low Traffic Neighbourhoods (LTNs) and new evidence from Mini-Holland schemes.

Elections

Three formal elections for the roles of Treasurer, Coordinator and Secretary will take place. This will be followed by informal elections to other committee roles.

In order to facilitate smooth running on the night, please send an email to the address above to let us know whether you would like to stand for election to any of the thee formal positions, since the polls will need to be set up in advance on Zoom software.

We are always looking for new people to get involved in the group, so please also let us know if you would like to join the committee.

There will be no opportunity to check people’s membership cards before voting, so please include your membership number in your email request for the Zoom meeting details.
